Actual native interface. Requested pedal remains separate from the live filter response and measured signal.
Actual WAH VECTOR 0.1.0 interface

Requested pedal guides stay distinct from actual sweep-frequency/Q markers. The base SWEEP Hz readout is not a universal resonance-peak label; multi-branch models are described by the response curve. The small-signal wet filter response excludes nonlinear Drive and full wet/dry Mix; FFT is measured signal.

Classic Inductor

A focused, original resonant sweep inspired by the familiar inductor-wah gesture.

Start with a moderate Q and useful sweep limits. Compare output headroom before increasing Drive or Boost.

Change the motion.

OFF/ON keeps the same timeline. Changing model keeps the current comparison playing while the new pair loads.

Recorded performances, processed by the actual WAH VECTOR engine: active individual phrases and the complete 2:50 song. Each comparison declares its settings and original source credits.

Six primary controls / 112 stable parameters

One gesture.
Many directions.

Pedal, Rate, Range Low, Range High, Q and Mix stay visible. Labelled Filter, Motion, Steps, Envelope, MIDI/Note, Tone/Routing and Utility views expose every control.

Manual pedal

Set the saved Pedal position and sweep range. The actual position also reflects applicable smoothing, stereo offset and modulation.

Envelope

A real internal Peak/RMS or external RMS detector shapes the sweep. Attack, Hold, Release, signed amount and normalized curve stay explicit.

LFO & Hybrid

Choose waveform, physical rate or synced divisions. Hybrid combines manual, envelope, LFO and triggered contributions within safe limits.

Sixteen steps

Edit stable step positions without renumbering IDs. Rate or Division is per step; Count sets the complete cycle length.

MIDI & Note

Route CC pedal and notes through the host. Channel, calibration, smoothing, independent bypass CC and retriggerable ADSR are discoverable.

Filter & routing

Q limits, formants, explicit drive, tone, bass protection, stereo routing, monitors and real spectrum controls are separate and saved.

Does the graph include saturation and dry mix?

The analytic small-signal response describes the current wet filter at actual base sweep frequency and Q. Wide, paired, formant and synth structures can place their individual branch resonances elsewhere. Live response and actual markers wait for running audio with real signal. Nonlinear Drive and the complete Mix transfer are excluded. Input/output FFT shows real measured signal separately.

Can I use an expression pedal?

Route the pedal's MIDI CC through your device and DAW. Select the controller and MIDI channel, then calibrate the range. The plugin does not directly detect a hardware pedal.

What happens with no external detector?

Requested but missing auxiliary falls back to internal RMS; a connected silent auxiliary remains external. Missing external monitoring is silent.

Is the Schmitt gate an audio noise gate?

No. Gate Threshold and Hysteresis govern envelope-trigger crossings for ADSR. They do not silently gate the main audio.

Put motion
in the phrase.

The Windows build passed native DSP checks, strict pluginval level 5 and VST3 SDK validation. In tested REAPER sessions, all 112 controls and ten saved-state reopen cycles were verified; static renders matched the engine within half a 24-bit PCM step. MIDI CC, note behavior and active automation were checked separately. These are scoped checks, not a guarantee for every host or configuration.
